Tre Regine is a wine obtained by blending Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teran from 2007. vintage. Wine was made by long maceration of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for 40-60 days and then agen in tono barrels for 2-4 years, while Teran wasmacerated for 90-100 days and aged in barrique barrels for 2-4 years.
Wine is of crimson color, in smell dominate berries like wild strawberry, blueberry and currant. On pallate one can find taste of forrest fruit jam with notes of vanilla. It has a long taste that finishes with cacao and chocolate aroma. Wine is fresh with pronouncedly soft tannins, in the end very tasty. Wine is ready for enjoynment or additional aging up to 10 years.
Pairing with food Tre Regine goes superbly with strong gravies or sauces with red meat, or roast venison. It also pairs very well with prosciutto and cheese or regular grilled steak.
